The U.S. Post Office helps recycle gadgets

Are you wondering what to do with your old electronic devices, like cell phones that you no longer use?  Well, if you live in Chicago (and nine other cities in the U.S.)  you can pick up a postage-paid mailer from the post office (although I don’t think *all* post offices are participating) and send the device to Clover Technologies, who will recycle components from it.  This is a pilot program, currently, which the US Postal Service hopes to open up later in the year I believe.  If you are interested, you can read more about it here.  Of course, you can also donate your old equipment to the Goodwill, or to one of the programs that gives the phone to those who need it, like soldiers, or the homeless.  However you get rid of the old equipment, just don’t throw it in the trash.
