I read an article in this past Sunday’s Chicago Tribune entitled “How Green is My Baby?” Well, the obvious answer to that question for me is “we don’t have kids yet!” 🙂 But it made me think. At first I thought that maybe this “green baby thing” (providing organic bedding, non-toxic wipes, etc.) was a bit extreme, until I read this quote: “More parents are moving toward environmentally friendly nurseries because they’re thinking, ‘I take good care of myself but I’m going to take better care of my baby’ “. Good point. And, because they are so little, I think that babies are more vulnerable to toxins in the environment than a full grown adult so it makes sense to be more careful with things that come in contact with.
